Estimated waiting times are approximate and will vary depending on the number of properties available, the property type requires i.e. apartment, bungalow or house, and the current demand for that property. Waiting times of over 48+ may mean it is unlikely housing may be offered.

If you need help to bid for properties, we offer an Assisted Bidding service for applicants who are vulnerable and have no-one else to help them. Please call the Homesearch Team on 0345 900 2956 for assistance.

Adverts & Feedback
Properties are advertised on a continuous bidding cycle.

Properties may be advertised with a Wet Room or with a Level Access shower.

The feedback on all lettings will be provided on this website when you log in, and also on each property freesheet.

Medical/Welfare Priority

If you feel that you are not in the correct banding as your current housing situation is affecting your health or well being, then we may be able to reassess your banding based on your circumstances.

You can complete a medical or welfare application form and return this to us with supporting information and we will assess this within 28 days.

Please read the guidance notes before completing the form as this will inform you how to fill in the form and what we need from you.

Once we have received a form and supporting information from you then we will assess this information within 28 days and send you a letter or email with the outcome.

If you have completed a medical or welfare form and you are not happy with the outcome there are a few ways that you can proceed. You can ask us to re-assess your form, you can send additional supporting information in order for us to assess or you can appeal the decision.

Please submit any appeals to us in writing within 28 days of receiving your decision letter. Your application will then be looked at by a member of each partner of Homesearch and will not involve those who have already assessed your case. You will receive an outcome within 28 days.
