When you register for housing, we aim to assess your application within 10 workings days. Once we have successfully registered your application, you will receive a welcome letter or e-mail telling you which band you are in and the reason why. You will also receive a Scheme User Guide. Has Anything Changed?
You must keep us informed about any changes in your circumstances, e.g. adding or removing people on your application, change of address, employment status etc. This is very important, as it could result in a change to your band or your eligibility for certain types of properties. You can download the Change of Circumstances form by clicking on Change of Circumstances
IMPORTANT - You must save your completed form on your computer and return it to us via e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
PLEASE NOTE, if you are offered a property, the 1st weeks rent is to be paid before the tenancy agreement is signed
If you fill in an online form, or bid for a home online, the information you give will be recorded, held, organised and used as part of the housing process by the relevant landlord.
The online housing registration form is used to: start your housing registration; assess the type of property you would be suitable for; help decide your level of housing priority.
The information will be held securely and treated confidentially. You have the legal right to see your housing application file. Contact Monmouthshire Homesearch for more information to do this.
Monmouthshire Homesearch landlords may use data from the website to help build statistical information about housing needs and demands - this statistical information will not describe individual cases, or list individual applicants.
The landlords will only disclose the information you give to certain relevant people or organisations as part of the housing process – such as other Monmouthshire Homesearch landlords; health authorities; the probation service; MPs; and other housing authorities including elected members, board members, social services and your previous landlords.
